Maison et Objet’s 2017 Designer of the Year: Pierre Charpin

An award-winning modular armchair that can be transformed into a lounge sofa – now that’s dope! Basically, it’s a slice armchair, designed by Pierre Charpin that comes with extra slices or better known as ottomans—winning the design award Maison et Objet’s 2017 Designer of the Year. Even though it was originally designed in 1998, the 2017 updated adaptation features a superior ergonomic and design language altogether.

As a result, the entire setup becomes much more interesting depending on the user. In addition, the Carrara marble table, the Desa table lamp, and the Mobidec footstool also rocked the M+O Paris Fair in collaboration with French luxury brand, Ligne Roset.
